Betti & Associates won its motion to compel July 2013 to search these archives Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers aka the Catholic Foreign Mission Society of America in Ossining, New York, and the Diocese of Honolulu, Hawaii including documents relating to St. Anthony of Padua Church, St. Anthony Catholic School.. These archives are one of only three in the entire world to be searched by attorneys.

In inspecting the archives, Betti & Associates uncovered a pattern and practice and a history of abuse known to this Diocese and the Maryknoll religious order. But what was so compelling in our review was that the cover up of the abuse began as early as the 1940s and continues to occur to this day!
