California Reporting

The 2002 California law gave victims of childhood sexual abuse a one-year “civil window,” allowing those with otherwise expired claims to sue. When California established its window, more than 300 previously undetected predators were discovered.

New York

Now New York’s Assembly overwhelmingly passed a statute, providing a “window” for civil suits, which is awaiting passage in the State Senate.
